Happenings at Amari Pattaya

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2025 is set to light up the skies on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 November 2025. Held along the iconic Pattaya Central Beach from Bali Hai Pier to North Pattaya, this world-class event is one of Thailand’s biggest seaside celebrations, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

What to Expect at the Festival
The two-night festival promises breathtaking fireworks displays from international pyrotechnic teams, often synchronized with music and accompanied by dramatic finales. Beyond the spectacular fireworks, visitors can enjoy:
• Fireworks performances, opening performance “The Light of Eternal Loyalty”
• Food and beverage stalls featuring local street food and international favourites.
• Free viewing zones on the beach

The 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) will be held from 9 to 20 December 2025 in Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla.

Pattaya, located in Chonburi Province, has been selected as one of the key venues. The city will host several watersport competitions, including:
• Windsurfing
• Sailing
• Jet Ski

Most of these events will take place at Jomtien Beach, which has been inspected and approved to meet international standards for safety and facilities.

This marks the first time Chonburi and Songkhla join Bangkok as lead host cities for the SEA Games, making it a historic edition for Thailand.

The 2025 SEA Games will also emphasise the concept of a “Green SEA Games”, focusing on sustainability and eco-friendly practices throughout the event.
